Monterrey.- The Secretary of State Security, Gerardo Palacios PámanesHe reported that two men were arrested as alleged material authors of the attack at the campaign event Graciela Villarrealcandidate of Morena and the Green Party, for Mayor of the municipality of El Carmen.
According to the official, the men are investigated and only identified them as Jesus E.N., both 22 years old, who were captured in El Jarala neighborhood about 10 kilometers from the Buena Vista Fractionation, where the attack occurred.
“Civil Force, AEI, Mexican Army and National Guard,” wrote Palacios in two possible material authors of the events violent events that occurred yesterday (Friday) in El Carmen during a political event“, he published on social networks on Saturday night.
On Friday the candidate Villarreal emerged unharmed from a shooting attack when he was walking through the streets of the Buena Vista neighborhood, in El Carmen, a town about 40 kilometers north of Monterrey, where a photographer was injured.
After the events, Graciela Villarreal has been sheltered in a Civil Force barracks, as part of the security strategy which was announced on April 5 by the State Public Security Secretariat.

In Nuevo León, 11 candidates for various positions have entered the Candidate Protection Protocol in local campaignsreported the State Electoral Institute.
Is about 9 candidates for Mayor and two deputiesHowever, the electoral authority declined to disclose the names of those protectedprecisely for security and protocol.
To get security candidates must do application to the State Electoral Institute and the requests are channeled to the Ministry of Public Security, which determines the protection measuresas established by the state Electoral Law.
