Logan’s biological mother, Cynthia Davis, and her then-boyfriend Dennis Schermerhorn, were indicted in 2003 by Grayson County in connection with the Logan’s disappearance.

According to CNN, Davis reached a deal to serve 15 years in prison and 15 years of probation for two felony counts of child neglect and one felony count of murder in April 2004.

The mother’s boyfriend, Dennis “Danny” Schmermerhorn, was convicted of one count of child neglect and sentenced to a year in prison.
