After almost two years in prison, Jesús Murillo Karam leaves the Medical Tower of the Tepepan prison and heads to his home located in Lomas de Chapultepec in Mexico City.
Guarded by elements of the National Guard, this afternoon former prosecutor Murillo Karam left the prison and will be serving the preventive detention he faces from his home.
Yesterday the hearing was held in which the security measures under which the person involved will be under house arrest were established. Among the measures is not being able to leave the country and being permanently monitored by National Guard authorities.
