Colima.- An armed group murdered the general secretary of the Villa de Álvarez city council, Alfredo Chávez González, in the garden of the Real de Caná neighborhood, located north of the metropolitan area of Colima.
The attackers were several individuals who escaped in a dark-colored truck, apparently escorted by other vehicles that joined them on the journey.
The governor of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno Silva, regretted the death of the official and demanded that the Prosecutor’s Office promptly resolve the case.
