They arrest a suspect in a shooting in Las Vegas – El Sol de México

This Sunday, prior to the New Year’s celebrations, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested a 45-year-old man who is suspected of causing a shooting very close to the MGM Hotel.

“LVMPD investigators have identified Jon Letzkus, 45, as a person of interest in this morning’s shooting in the 100 block of E. Harmon in Las Vegas,” they reported from their X account.

Authorities reported that there were no injuries and that they recovered the weapon used in the attack, which occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m.

This is the second shooting reported in Nevada so far this December, the first was on December 6 at the University of Nevada and left multiple victims.
