During Christmas Eve, at least 52 people were sent to the Center for Administrative Sanctions and Social Integration, “El Torito” in Mexico City, for driving with excessive levels of alcohol in the blood
The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC CDMX) reported that as part of the “Drive without alcohol on December days” program, 52 drivers were referred to “El Torito” and 50 vehicles taken to the corraló.
Yesterday, December 24, about 423 breathalyzer tests and 16,094 “Alcostop” tests to check the environment inside the vehicle.
What did they have for dinner at El Torito on Christmas?
Like every year, the Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), offered the traditional Christmas dinner at El Torito, which in 2023 had some changes to the Menu.
This year they offered: creamed elbow soup with peaches and ham, cochinita pibil, accompanied by red onion cured in lemon with habanero chili, apple salad and punch.

It should be remembered that it was last November 30 when this program began with the objective of safeguarding the population and avoiding vehicle accidents on these December dates.
